Fiona is the driving force behind this fantastic salon, since opening its doors in 1982 Fiona has been committed to providing that 5 star service. Fiona perfected her skills with John Jenkins and continues to pass on her extensive knowledge to the team, as an NVQ Assessor Fiona ensures her team provide the highest standards.
3 years ago Fiona embarked on a new challenge and invested her time into ‘My New Hair’ spending time being trained with industry great Trevor Sorbie.

Nicola is a well established salon manager overseeing every aspect of a fantastic team with over 12 years experience having achieved high rewards completing hairdressing and customer service level 2&3.
Nicola is currently working with Alan Austin-Smith on the fantastic ambassador programme; a salon expert in Great lengths hair extensions, Nicola has completed training to expert levels at the L’Oreal professional training academy.
Nicola plays a hands on role within our salon education programme.

Emma has been a member of the team for over 18yrs, and carries a vast amount of hairdressing experience. One of her many expert skills include the new ‘Keratin Blow Dry’, truly the smoothest blow dry you can have. She enjoys all aspects of her work particularly cutting.
Emma Works closely with Fiona attending many of the salon ‘behind the scenes’ duties to ensure we provide you with the best salon experience.

Since the start of Hannah’s career in 2000 Hannah continues to excel. As one of our most creative stylists within the Fiona Povey team, Hannah has won a place in the regional finals of the L’Oreal colour trophy 2 yrs in a row. Putting her skills and knowledge into action she is the leading inspiration of our training academy. Hannah proudly commits herself to ongoing learning and is currently working closely with Alan Austin-Smith doing the Fantastic Hairdresser Ambassador Programme. To add to Hannah’s many talents she also produces some exquisite occasion hair.

Charlene is one of our highly skilled principle stylists, producing some fantastic gent’s styles, which in 2007 gained her a place in the regional finals of the L’Oreal colour trophy. Charlene is currently working hard towards a customer service NVQ, also boasting skills as a qualified great lengths hair extensionist.

Vicky has completed high rewards in hairdressing NVQ level 2&3 also achieving distinctions in a Technical diploma. She has spent her hairdressing career entirely at Fiona Povey since 2002.
Vicky specialises in our xtenso cerathermic smoothing service.

After starting her hairdressing career at Fiona Povey in 2003 Emma has gone from strength to strength putting her NVQ 2&3 in the bag. Emma is a specialist in great lengths hair extensions and produces some stunning bridal work. 2011 brings exciting times with Emma entering the colour trophy and looking forward to a day with award winning Sean Dawson later in the year

As a well established member of the team. Rae now works selected days in the salon, well know by the team as our very own ‘Queen of Curl’ her vast experience and commitment to ongoing learning ensures Rae provides her clients with a fantastic hair care experience.

Melanie has been with the salon since 1982; with a natural flair for intricate work Melanie has clients travelling miles for her stunning highlights and colour experience. She is expert in all aspects of hairdressing having had many years of L’Oreal training; she is also one of our more creative stylists and is currently working very hard in her spare time towards a city and guilds diploma in Quilting.

Barb has been involved in the hairdressing industry since the start of her career and has spent the majority of her time with Fiona Povey, taking a break in her hairdressing to have a family. Barb now works selected days in the salon.

Karon is exclusive to our Wednesdays, having been a firm feature in the salon for many years, with over 25 years experience.

Emma has been trained entirely within the Fiona Povey education programme and has qualified in both NVQ levels 2&3. Emma has recently spent the day with award winning hairstylist Tracy Divine.
She has been involved in our L’Oreal colour trophy work since joining the salon in 2005, both as a model in front of the camera and creating some stunning colour in our latest collection.

Joining Fiona Povey in 2005 Roisin has completed her NVQ 2 within the education programme at Fiona Povey. She enjoys colouring and styling so with Roisins flair for glamorous curls we recommend a visit before any night out.

Dani has been a vibrant member of the Fiona Povey team since 2006; she has spent over 4 years training within the education programme, achieving high rewards in colour through the L’Oreal Academy. As our newest stylist to the salon floor Dani sets herself high standards in making sure her clients feel fantastic producing some stunning occasion and Bridal hair Dani could be the key to your big day.
