FIONA POVEY - SALON OWNER
As a dedicated Salon Owner since 1982 and having been in the industry for over 45 years, Fiona has a passion and vast experience within all aspects of hairdressing. She relishes in the satisfaction of making our clients feel and look great and inspires the team at Fiona Povey Hair Salon to do the same, so that every client receives the same outstanding service. Inspired by Trevor Sorbie and the ‘my new hair’ organisation, Fiona is particularly proud of the wig services she offers following 15 years of cutting and providing wigs for alopecia and chemotherapy clients. Salon life takes up much of her time but when she’s not cutting her Fiona is chopping veg. She loves to cook outside of salon hours and cooks a mean roast!
Fiona always makes sure she has time for her gorgeous grandsons and granddaughter and loves being a grandma.

NICOLE HARVEY - ​SALON COORDINATOR
Nicole supports our team day-to-day to ensure that all clients leave our salon feeling amazing. She aims to go above and beyond to make sure everyone has the best possible experience at Fiona Povey Hair Salon. Having started out at the Salon as a Saturday girl she now works as a full-time salon coordinator. On completing the Kerastase Master Class Nicole can offer advice and support for all your home hair care needs. Alongside coordinating the salon,
Nicole loves planning events in her spare time - when she can squeeze it in between running a busy household with three children!
MELANIE PASK
PRINCIPAL STYLIST / EXTENSION TECHNICIAN
Having worked and trained at Fiona Povey Hair Salon for over 30 years, Melanie is one of the longest serving and most dedicated members of our team. Over this time she’s built a loyal client base, which is credit to the pride that she takes in her work. Melanie particularly loves the creativity of colouring and cutting but also thrives from experiencing new techniques and learning new things. She’s attended many courses over her time in the industry, including advanced colouring advanced perming & bridal hair. Melanie is also one of Extension Technicians.
The creative side of Melanie is extended outside of salon hours, she has a C&G diploma in creative quilting and stitching to add to her qualifications and training!
BARBARA WALFORD - PRINCIPAL STYLIST
Barbara has been styling and colouring at Fiona Povey Hair Salon for over 30 years. She loves what she does and has formed solid relationships with her regular clients, which aside from her talent, it’s also down to her sparkling and attentive nature. Barbara enjoys working with hair up styling as it gives her real opportunity to get creative, she’s also our in salon expert for our smoothing treatment, Keratin Complex. When Barbara isn’t running her fully booked Column, she’s helping our Trainee Stylists learn all there is to know about hairdressing.
Barbara loves family time but also going on holiday, where she has been known to read a cheesy novel or two!
AMY MAULTÂ
SENIOR STYLIST / EXTENSION TECHNICIAN
Amy joined the team in 2014, 2 years after starting out in the hairdressing industry. She’s an energetic member of the team, who never fails to make our clients smile and goes the extra mile to offer hair care advice. Amy loves to Balayage and also has great experience in barbering, She’s also one of our Extension Technicians here at Fiona Povey Hair Salon.
Not only is Amy enthusiastic at work, she loves to be in the kitchen baking goodies! We love Amy’s bakes!
Reece joined the team in 2019, shortly after qualifying as a hairdresser.
She has flourished since becoming a member of the Fiona Povey team and has
discovered a great love for colouring.
Reece enjoys balayage and creating unique colours especially working with vivid colours!
Reece's creativity doesn't stop in the salon, she loves experimenting in the kitchen and baking cakes! She also has a huge passion for tattoos!
REECE WORSTENCROFT - STYLIST
AMELIA MORGAN - SALON ASSISTANT
Inspired by the creative side of hairdressing Amelia decided it was time for a career change and after time spent working as a Psychotherapist she joined the salon in September 2017. She's enjoying her time with the team and is looking forward to getting more experience in the services that we have available.
Amelia is kept on her toes working around a family of seven, but when she gets time to herself she love to do anything creative.
Shannon Lonergan - Salon Assistant/Trainee Stylist
Shannon joined the team in 2025 after she decided a career change was needed. She is currently doing training for her level 1&2 and is excited to get hands on and is looking forward to gaining experience by supporting our stylists while they run their busy columns.

Not just interested in Hair, Shannon also has Qualifications in Gel Nails and Make Up!
Grace Hannay - Salon Assistant/Trainee Stylist
Grace started at the salon in 2023 doing work experience alongside her hairdressing course, after completing her course Grace took on more hours helping her to gain more salon experience, She continues to support the stylist day to day while introducing models on set days.
When Grace is not in the salon she enjoys going to the theatre and spending time with her parents.
